LYLE G. CLOUD, 66, Webster City, died Tuesday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Des Moines.
Services will be 1:30p.m. Friday at Asbury United Methodist Church, Webster City, with the Rev. Vernon Sorensen and the Rev. Bruce Bain officiating. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery, Webster City.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; daughter, Mary Dencklau, Fort Dodge; sons Kenneth, Fort Dodge, Don, Oskaloosa; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
Lyle Cloud was born in Lawton. He attended school school there and graduated from high in Galva. He married Dorothy Haden in 1942 at Galva. He served with the United State Army from 1942 to 1945 and participated in the
Africa and Italy campaigns. He returned to Galva and was employed by the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad. In 1957, the couple moved to Fort Dodge where he was employed by the Illinois Central Railroad. In 1979 they moved to Webster City where he continued his employment with railroad until his retirement in 1982.
He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 29 of Webster County and the Webster City Bowling Association.
