Daniel Warren Bishop passed away suddenly on May 8, 2008 in Oroville CA. Daniel was born in San Diego, CA on April 4, 1961 to Nancy Jones and Joseph W. Bishop. Daniel attended Feather Falls Elementary School and Las Plumas High School. He has lived in Butte County for 35 years. Dan has worked as an independent carpenter for 27 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, he was a great outdoorsman. He especially enjoyed watching movies and television shows about fishing. His family and friends will remember Dan as a very talented man who could take a piece of wood and build what ever you wanted. Dan will be greatly missed by his two sons, Tommy and Scotty Bishop of Oroville; his father, Joe Bishop of Texas; his mother, Nancy Jones; his sister, Pam Pierson; his brothers, Tev Newton, Lewis Newton, Jason Newton all of Oroville and his brother, Eric Jones of Oregon. He will also be missed by several nieces and nephews and many friends.
