The funeral service for livestock dealer Weldon Ray "B.W." Bowers of Henry was scheduled at 11 a.m. today at McEvoy Funeral Home.
Gary S. Collier was to officiate. Burial was to follow in Henry Cemetery.
Chosen as pallbearers were Richard Bevill, Tony and Steve Schrader, Richard Crouch, Tony Bowers and Mike Miller.
Honorary pallbearers were Chris Boxell, Richard and Leon Owen and Timmy Beecham.
Visitation was Sunday and today.
Bowers, 72, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, at his farm.
His wife, Patricia Ann Bevill Bowers, survives. They were married on March 28, 1964.
Bowers was a Henry High School graduate, attended Henry Baptist Church and served in the Tennessee National Guard.
He also leaves one daughter: Tammy (Barry) Revel of Henry; three sisters: Rebecca (James) Aldridge and Willie Ruth (Jerry) Miller of McKenzie and Judy (Mike) Moore of Michie; one brother: Bobby C. (Jettie) Bowers of McKenzie;
One grandchild: Scott D. Carroll of Henry; two stepgrandsons: Justin and Josh Revel, both of Henry; and several nieces, nephews and brothers- and sisters-in-law.
