WINDSOR - Helen Louise Caldwell Wiseman, 89, passed away at home Saturday, April 7, 2012. Born in Maben, W.Va., Helen was the daughter of the late George and Lola S. Boyd Caldwell. Formerly of Hampton, Helen had lived in Windsor for the past 10 years. She was a chemist with Dow Chemical for many years. Later, she worked as a bookkeeper for Drucker and Falk Real Estate. Helen was member of Whiteheads Grove Baptist Church and had served as church secretary and treasurer.
Preceded in death by her husband, the late Walter David Wiseman; and her daughter, Donna Prevatt, Helen is survived by her son, Phillip R. Winzenrith and his wife, Rhonda of Windsor, with whom she made her home; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.
A graveside funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, at Hampton Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Russell Leonard officiating. Family and friends will gather from 6 to 7 p.m. tonight, April 10, for visitation at Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield. The family suggests memorial contributions to Whiteheads Grove Baptist Church,18366 Benn's Church Blvd., Smithfield, VA 23430. Arrangements are in the care of Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield, Va.
