Mr. J. Thomas Acors, aged eighty-four years, a Confederate veteran, died on Tuesday evening, Feb. 6th, at his home in King George county, near Passapatanzy. The deceased was a member of the 32nd Virginia Regiment, and served with valor during the Civil War. Following the war he engaged in farming pursuits. Death was a result of general debility. Surviving are 3 sons and 1 daughter, as follows: Messrs: Aylor, Clarence and Robert Acres and Mrs. Addie Allen, all of King George.
Funeral Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Fletcher's Chapel. Interment in church cemetery.
