Son of the late Clifford Hoy and Edith Aliff Arnold. As a young man, he proudly worked with his father at Arnold's Garage for 14 years. He retired from Coppinger's Machinery Service after 30 years, and is fondly remembered as the owner of Peppe's Pizza. He attended Parkview Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by three brothers, Clifford Arnold Jr., Wayne Arnold, and Phillip Arnold; one sister, Rita Shelley; and two brothers-in-law, Willie Shelley and George Helms.
