Joseph Lionell (Lee) Bench, 86, 75 H Str., died of natural causes Nov. 21 in a Salt Lake rest home. Born Aug 7, 1882, Manti (Utah), to William and Christine Ericksen Bench. Married Kirstine Petersen, June 7, 1905, Manti LDS Temple. She died April 9, 1953. Member LDS Church. Former employee, Morton Salt Co., Pearson Tool Works.
Survivors: daughters, Mrs. LeRoy (Jessie) Davis, Mrs. H. P. (Una) McGuinness, both Salt lake City. 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother sisters, Clyde E., Mrs. May Carstensen, both Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ruby Read, Los Angeles.
Funeral Friday noon 2120 S State where friends call Thursday, 6-8 p.m. Friday prior to services. Burial, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
