Lizella – Henry L. Jones passed away July 6, 2012. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Monday, July 9, 2012 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Macon Memorial Cemetery. Chaplain Delores Reese will be officiating.

Mr. Jones was born in Macon, GA to the late Alfred L. Jones and Marguerite Sanders Jones. He was a graduate of Southwest High School and had worked many years as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, HCA Coliseum Medical Centers, Charter Lake Hospital and The Anderson Center. He was a member of the Progressive Primitive Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years Sharon Elizabeth Jones of Lizella; two brothers, John F. Jones (Angie) of Forsyth, and Alfred L. Jones(Sharon) of Haynesville, NC, sister, Bonnie Williams of Lizella; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family would like to give special thanks to his cousin Joe Barlow for his dedication and concern during his extended illness, and to Hospice Advantage. For those who wish, contributions may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation 811 West Evergreen Ave. Suite 204 Chicago IL 60642.
