Mr. Haskell C. Whigham, 92, a native of Shubuta MS and resident of Gilbertown, AL died Monday, June 18, 2012 at Rush Hospital in Meridian. He had worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Mr. Whigham is preceded in death by his wife, Edith King Whigham; son, Ellis Whigham3 sisters, Flossie Singley, Christine Cornett and Flogene Reynolds. He is survived by his son, Kevin Whigham of Gilbertown, AL; daughter-in-law, Jean Whigham of Poteau, OK; 2 brothers, Hershel Whigham (Frances) of Spanish Fort, AL and Kenneth Whigham (Marie) of Gilbertown, AL; 2 granddaughters, Jeanie Scott of Houston, TX and Teresa Newby (Billy) of Poteau, OK; 5 great-grandsons, Kameron Scott, Ryan Scott and Cory Scott, all of Houston, TX, William Newby and Eki Newby, both of Poteau, OK. Visitation for Mr. Whigham will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 21, 2012 in the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 22, 2012 from the Gilbertown United Methodist Church in Gilbertown with Rev. Reba Wiley and Rev. William Messer officiating. Interment will be in Gilbertown United Methodist Cemetery.

6:00PM to 8:00PM on Thursday, June 21st, 2012 at Freeman Funeral Home, Waynesboro Chapel (map/driving directions)
