Gladys Adams, 60, of Newport, died at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Newport Sept. 22, 1921, to Ballard and Mary Della
Knopp. She spent most of her life in Newport Township and was a
member of the St. Marys Catholic Church.
She is survived by two sisters, Lulu Smith and Margaret Taylor, both
of Newport; a nephew and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Adams; two brothers;
and a sister.
Services were held Saturday at the McClure-Schafer Funeral Home with
Father Carl (unreadable) officiating. Burial was in Newport
Cemetery.
