Besides helping her father with farm work and caring for her aging parents, Goldie was a homemaker and worked for 38 years at the Middlebury Creamery. She enjoyed fellowship with friends and relatives, especially those who came regularly to play games with her. An avid crocheter, she made many afghans which she gave away.
