Mr. Tauche was a factory worker at Polson Rubber and Harbison-Walker Refractories in Windham.
He was a longtime member of Windham American Legion Post No. 674, and a member of the Garrettsville Eagles.
He was an avid listener of the radio station K-105 FM and an avid Browns fan.
Survivors include his daughters, Jeanette, Carolyn, Laura, Teresa, and Leeann;
15 grandchildren; father, Junior, of Ravenna; brothers, Thom (Sharon) of Windham;
sisters, Loretta Hartley, Donna (Jim) Burch, Judy (Joe) Hickman and Debbie (Bob) Myers, all of Windham.
His mother, Annabelle, died Dec. 15, 1984.
A sister, Annette, died previously.
A brother-in-law, Charles Hartley, died Nov. 12, 2001.
Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home in Garrettsville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Fred Youngen officiating.
Burial will be in Windham Township Cemetery.
