Clarence C. Blanton, 62, died March 31 at Mercy Memorial Hospital in Mutual, OH. He was born in Johnson County, January 22, 1921, a son of Manford and Sula Whitt Blanton. Mr. Blanton was a retired employee of Midland-Ross, Grimes Division. A veteran of World War II, he was a member of Champaign Lodge 525, F & AM, of Urbana, OH. Surviving are his wife, Merle; a daughter of Mechanicsburg, OH; two grandsons; five brothers, seven sisters, six brothers are deceased. Services were held Saturday, April 2, at the Skillman Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg, OH with the Rev. Taylor Cantrell officiating. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.
