Gilbert J. Mahloch, age 85, formerly of 519 S. 31st St., Manitowoc died Thursday, December 23, 1993, at the Manitowoc Health Care Center.
Funeral Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 28, 1993, at the Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Earl Brouchoud will officiate with cremation to follow and burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
He was born December 11, 1908, in Rockville, Wis., son of the late Charles and Maggie Anhalt Mahloch. He attended schools in Kiel and St. Nazianz. He married Pauline Khail on October 7, 1931, in Manitowoc. He was employed with the Medusa Cement Co. of Charlevoix, Mich. for 38 years, retiring in 1971.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline, Manitowoc; three sons and daughters-in-law, Lloyd and Doris Mahloch, Kiel, Allen and Luella Mahloch, Garrel and Audrey Mahloch, all of Manitowoc; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Isadore and Angeline Mahloch, Shawano, Carl and Delores Mahloch, Appleton; two sisters, Marcella Gross, Sheboygan, Margret Weinberger, Manitowoc; three sisters-in-law, Mildred Khail, Two Rivers, Ethel Kyle, Cloquet, Minn., Agnes Mahloch, Manitowoc; two brothers-in-law, Emil Khail, Gulfport, Miss. B.J. Karl, Warm Mineral Springs, Fla.; 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren. Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the Jens Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, December 27, 1993, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. lead by Deacon William Klein.
