She is survived by her husband, Charles Elkinton, at home. Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Dahl-McVicker Funeral Home. Services will be at a later date.

Gloria Painter Elkington died July 3, at her home in Longview.
She was the daughter of Ralph and Kathy Painter of St. Helens and had three brothers, Ralph, Alan and Manuel.
Gloria attended St. Helens High School.
She was married for 40 years to Chuck Elkinton and had four children, Scott Elkinton, Jason Elkinton, Liane Clark and Kevin Elkinton.
Gloria was also a grandmother to 13 children.
A rosary and Mass was said on July 3.
