Charles Brandl age 83 of the Town of Cato died Friday at Holy Family Hospital Manitowoc. Funeral services 9:30am Monday at Reedsville Funeral Home and 10am at St Mary Catholic Church Clarks Mills. Rev Henry Arens to officiate. Burial in the church cemetery.
Born 1 December 1882 in the Town of Cato to the late Wolfgang+Catharine Staudinger Brandl, he married Sophia Vogel 24 November 1902 at St Michael Catholic Church Whitelaw. He was a member of the Holy Name Society.
Survivors are the wife; 5 sons: Edwin, Reinhard, Alfred, Walter, Kenneth; 3 daughters: Hilda/Mrs Nick Schiesl, Ida/Mrs Norb Heinzen, Florence/Mrs Vic Siehr; sister Theresa/Mrs George Loritz of Manitowoc; 42 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. Two brothers (George, Joseph) and sister Sophia/Mrs John Riederer preceded him in death.
