Betty Ruth Howard, age 80, of Maryville passed away Saturday, July 23, 2005 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Member of Four Mile Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by: husband, Joe Howard; daughter, Jane Orr; grandson, Jason Orr; parents, Fay and Marie Hitch Brewer; sister, Hazel Harrison; brothers, Bobby Brewer and Billy Fay Brewer.
Survivors: son, Sam Howard and Jessie Sensaboy both of Maryville; granddaughter and spouse, Jana and Travis Hanson of Knoxville; granddaughters, Samantha and Jessica Howard; great-grandchild Carter Hanson; sisters, Katheryn Irwin of Maryville, Dorothy Harrison of Maryville; brothers, Hubert Brewer and Kenneth Brewer both of Maryville; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service 8:00 PM Monday, July 25, 2005 at Miller Funeral Home Cedar Chapel, Rev. Alvin Patton and Rev. James "Tater" Wells officiating, family and friends will meet at Bakers Creek Cemetery at 10:00 AM Tuesday for the interment service. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville, TN.
