East China Twp - Margery Gertrude Gaedcke age 93, died Friday, June 15, 2012 in Medilodge of St. Clair. Mrs. Gaedcke was born November 22, 1918 in Marine City to the late Abraham and Hulda Rose. She married Loren Gaedcke in St. Clair on July 6, 1940. Mr. Gaedcke died June 17, 1997. Mrs. Gaedeck was a long time member of Immaculate Conception Church in Anchorville and previously worked as a designer at Ullenbruch Flower Shop in Port Huron. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, taking pictures and playing euchre. She is survived by her children; Loren (Janet), Mark (Brenda), Paul (Deanna), Ann (Joseph) Langmesser and Cecelia Ball, a sister; Olive Ahles, seventeen grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her son-in-law; John Ball on December 11, 2007 and siblings; Harold and Jack Rose, Hulda Kenyon, Betty Frydel and Dorothy Hopps. A funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 10:00a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Anchorville. Visiting will be Monday from 3 to 8p.m. in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:00a.m. in the church.
