George Cummings, age 81, a resident of the Draper community, passed away at the Hayward Hospital on Thursday, March 8, following a long illness. He was born on June 5, 1881, in Barron County, where he grew to manhood. Mr. Cummings was engaged in farming all of his life, the past 30 years in the Draper community. He was united in marriage to Elsie Ruth Allen on July 12, 1905 at Chetek. Survivors include his wife Elsie of Draper, five sons, Ray and Kenneth of Draper, Isaac and Owen of Sheboygan, and Glen of Indianapolis, IN; four daughters, Mrs. Roger Wood and Mrs. Casimir Dobilas of Draper, WI; Mrs. Ada Baldwin of Banning, CA; and Mrs. Adam Warwick of Holcombe; 37 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
