Mary Ann born in Chicago probably 63ed st where family lived until they moved to apt at 1506 E 65th ST, parents divorced when she was about junior high, her mother supported by elder siblings and friend of the family, Clyde Van Horn, who worked for the REA railroad messenger company as did her father.

1950 chicago 24 yo Mary is living at home and working a clerical position for a furnace store. married sister Betty lives at home also, brother Bob is newlywed.

1952 married, will have 6 children in Chicago, first son Albert will be killed and n a bicycle accident early 1960's.

husband will enter federal service and the family move to VA

her children refuse any help with their family tree.

in retirement they will move 1980s to Pacific Grove, CA living near siblings Bob and Betty. I met her about 1991 and found her extremely reserved.
