Thomas Boyd Adkisson 63 of Mexico, died at 5;02 p.m. Saturday July 7, 2012 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 1;30p.m. Wednesday at Arnold Funeral Home. Visitation is from 6-8p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Thomas was born December 2, 1948 in Moberly the son of Thirmon Boyd and Helen (Harlan) Adkisson. On March 15, 1968 in Centralia, he married Judy Robinson. She survives.

Mr Adkisson had been a proud project manager for the Air Force military housing and worked for HDC and Soft Surroundings as a manager. More recently, he was a self employed contractor.

Survivors include his wife, Judy of the home, two daughters, Sonja Flatley and husband Shaun of Mexico and Roana Scrivner and husband Jay of Mexico. five grandchildren, Tricia Ham and husband Josh, Scott Scrivner and wife Kelsey ,Logan Flatley, Faith Scrivner and Micah Scrivner all of Mexico. one great grandchild on the way from Scott and Kelsey Scrivner, sisters and brother, Barbara Palmer of Centralia, Margie Walker and husband Larry of Centralia. Beverly Lewis of Centralia, Beverly Lewis of Centralia, Iris Crystal and husband Dave of Centralia, Frankie Wood of Centralia, Kim Decker and husband Terry of Centralia, Todd Adkisson and wife Brenda of Boonville and Allyson Sanders of Centralia, two sisters in law, Kay Weldon and husband Bill of Mexico and Verda Adkisson of Audrian County, and many nieces and nephews.

Mr Adkisson was preceded in death by his parents, and five brothers, Buddy Adkisson, Vernon Adkisson, Jimmy Adkisson, infant Marty Ray Adkisson who died after 18 months and another infant Thirmon Wayne Adkisson who died after one day.
