Betty Ann (Brockhouse) Hill was born August 7, 1922 to Cecil Allen Brockhouse (1885-1960) and Irma Montaldo (Roach) Brockhouse (1894-1991) at the Christian Church Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. (Her twin brother was named Bobby Arno Brockhouse (1922-1997).)
Betty met her future husband, Raymond Alfred "Ray" Hill, Jr. (1913 - 2003), at the Northeast YMCA in Kansas City, Missouri in 1948. After a year and a half of courting they became engaged on December 24, 1949. They were married on June 10, 1950, at the Independence Boulevard Christian Church in Kansas City, Missouri.
Betty and Ray had four children: Susan, Linda, Steven, and Laura.
Betty passed away on December 30, 2006 and was buried at the Forest Hills Cemetery in Kansas City, Jackson, Missouri.
