Susan was born February 8, 1949 to Derrel and Josephine Ridenour and passed away July 4, 2012. She lived her entire life in Fresno. After graduating from
McLane High School she worked at Community Hospital and then joined the family business, Derrel's Mini Storage where she was a partner and co-owner.

A beautiful person who was so easy to love, her family and friends remember her as a most loving and caring person. She was quick to care but not to judge. Inner strength, patience and love are the gifts she left us.

Her laugh and sense of humor were infectious. Qualities no doubt inherited from her father, Derrel, and mother Fifi. She was special in so many ways and her love of family was her top priority.

Susan is survived by her husband, Jon; father, Derrel; sons, Garrett Watkins and his wife Christie, Mike Wayte and his wife Stevie; step-daughters, Justine Logan and her husband Craig, Julia Anabo; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; sister, Dianne Dalich and husband Steve; brother, Derrel Ridenour and wife Kim.

The family was the universe and she was the sun encircled by the treasures of her life; grandchildren Carson, Taylor, Logan, Kendal and Payton Wayte, Callie Watkins, and Jon and Robert Logan.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Marshall Flam and nurse Bill White plus the special group of assistants at the St. Agnes Cancer Clinic, caregivers Becky Salmeron, Carmen Armenta, Maria Huerta and Jennifer Ferree, physical therapist Luis Melgoza.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Agnes Foundation, Memorial Donation Cancer Services Fund at SAMC.
