Cortlandt L. Dixon was born on February 16, 1917 in Helena, Oklahoma to Lloyd and Gladys Dixon. He passed away on July 8, 2012.
Cort was a long time manager of Farmers Co-op Grain & Supply Co. He was a manager in Zenda, Ks, Holly, Co and Halstead, Ks for over 30 years. He served about 4 years in World War II.
He married Linda Lackrone on June 21, 1945. She passed away in October of 1989. They had one daughter, Marsha Kay, who passed away in March of 1995. He was proceeded in death by siblings Howard, Jack, Gary and Elizabeth. Cortlandt remarried to Lola Robison Crow on January 5, 1991. He is survived by his wife Lola, son in law Tony Becker and three grand children: Brian and wife Monique Becker, Trisha and husband Robert Barsamian and Natalie Becker. Also survived by 6 great grand children: Shelby and Lindsay Becker, Sarah, Ashley and Ryan Barsamian and Sadie Saavedra, Step daughter Diana McVety and her three children Tyler, Camden and Katherine. He is survived by siblings Gene, Gloyd, Lawrence, Richard and Anna.
