MRS. JOSEPH REDFERN

Mrs. Joseph (Anna Susan) Redfern, 99, 6270 W. 38th Ave., Denver, Colo., a former resident of Rock Springs, died Dec. 9 at her home.

The only surviving member among a family of seven born in Windsor, Canada, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Drouillard. She had lived in Wyoming most of her life.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Redfern, whom she married 37 years ago.

She formerly was employed by the Detroit Free Press. She resigned and moved to Lander, where she was appointed county court stenographer. She met and was married to Douglas Preston, a defense lawyer, later attorney general for Wyoming. He was killed in an automobile accident many years ago.

Funeral services were conducted Dec. 13, at the Olinger Funeral Home, Dr. Frank A. Court and the Rev. Robert N. Paul, Trinity Methodist Church, Denver, officiating. Committal services were held at Fairmount Crematory Chapel, Denver.
