Mrs. Ed Reeve, Rensselaer Died Wednesday
Mrs. Mary A. Reeve, wife of Ed Reeve, of Rensselaer, died at her home in that place Wednesday morning after illness since Saturday, with ptomaine poisoning. She was 71 years of age and had lived in Rensselaer most of her life and was married to Ed Reeve in October 1888 at that place. She was an active member of the Christina Science Church and Legion Auxiliary and Literary Club.
Surviving are the husband, two sons Leo and Joseph of Rensselaer, and two daughters Mrs. Abbett, of Indiana Harbor and Mrs. Osborne, of West Lafayette; besides two sisters and a brother, Mrs. C.W. Hanley and Mayor Hopkins of Rensselaer and Mrs. Frank Hardy of Huntington together with five grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at the family residence this Friday afternoon with Claire G. Robinson officiating. Interment in Weston cemetery.
