Rose Walburga Rudolph died Monday, Oct. 28, 1991, at a Topeka hospital.
She was born on Aug, 18, 1913, to Anna Marie and George Michael Rudolph. She lived the single life in California after she was a civil service employee for the war department during WW II. She came back to Topeka in 1972 to look after her widowed mother and met Al Domme. His wife, Freda, and Rose's mother were roommates in Santa Fe Hospital.
When Al's wife and Rose's mother died, Al and Rose started seeing each other. Rose was 60 years old when she and Al were married in April, 1974, at Sacred Heart Church in Topeka.
Survivors include a sister, Anna Marie Gettler, Topeka, and a brother, George P. Rudolph, Topeka.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a. m. Thursday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Domme will lie in state after 2 p. m. today at Brennan Funeral Home where the following will be recited:
a Daughters of Isabella rosary at 6:30 p. m.; a parish prayer service at 7 p. m. and an Altar Society rosary at 7:30 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 312 N.E. Freeman, 66616.
