Hold Services For Mrs. Isbell
Funeral services for Mrs. G. W. (Bud) Isbell, 79, who died early Saturday at her home in the Alma community, were held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Corley Chapel.
The rites were conducted by Lon Goodrum, Church of Christ minister, and Rev. W. E. Nunn, Baptist minister. Burial was in the Rice cemetery.
Mrs. Isbell was a native of Hill county.
Surviving are her husband of Alma; four sons, John Isbell, Corsicana; James R. Isbell, Anna; George W. Isbell, Jr. and T. W. Isbell, both of Pleasant Grove; a daughters, Mrs. Mollie Johnson, Ennis; three sisters, Mrs. Donie Thurmond and Mrs. Cora Lee Presley, both of Dallas, and Mrs. Jessie Montgomery, Anna; three brothers, Tom and Ben Pace, both of Dallas, and Earl Pace, Van Alstyne; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives.
Grandsons were pallbearers." (The Corsicana Daily Sun - Monday, Jan 23, 1961)
