Mrs. Grace Mae (Shaffer) Golladay, 82, Beloit, died Sunday at the Mitchell County Hospital, Beloit.
She was born Jan 27, 1901, at Alta Vista, Kansas and moved to Beloit as a small child.
She was a member of the St. John's Catholic Church, Beloit, the church's Ladies Guild and the VFW Auxiliary.
Surviving are two daughters, Betty Golladay, Beloit, and Jo Ann Guard, McPherson; a son, Robert, 709 Max; five sisters, Alice Schmitz, Hilltop Lodge, Treca Rehmert, Florence Studer, Cecilia Spurgin, and Rose Gay, all of Beloit; a brother, E. J. Shaffer, Superior, Nebraska; four grandchildren and three great
grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the St. John's Catholic Church, Beloit, the Rev. Louis Mattas officiating. There will be a VFW Auxiliary graveside service at the St. John's cemetery.
There will be a Catholic Daughters of America Rosary at 5:15 p.m. and a parish rosary at 7 p.m. Tuesday, at the Harrison Funeral Home, Beloit.
The family suggests memorials to the church's memorial trust fund.
