Mrs. Wells was born to Firmer F. and Mary Jane O'Dell in Gadsden, Alabama on June 19, 1931 and passed away in Bakersfield on April 3, 2008. Mrs. Wells will be remembered as one who enjoyed cooking, quilting, and playing bingo. She loved her children, grandchildren and her dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Cecil O'Dell, Frank O'Dell and Dan O'Dell; her sisters, Willy Lay, Ann Royal and Carol Hayes. Mrs. Wells is survived by her husband, Edward G. Wells; her children and their spouses, Sam and Pam Jones, Diann Reeves, Vicki and Tony Quiroga, Pam and Ron Hanover, Grace O'Dell, Danny Wells, Lori Ryan, and Deanna and Joe Healy; her sisters, Mary Barker and Shirley Mobley Dooley; her brothers and their spouses, Walt and Jenetle O'Dell and Bill and Rose O'Dell; her grandchildren that she and Ed raised, Debbie, Tina, Frances Ann Dale, Eddie and Clifton and 24 other grandchildren and great grandchildren and by numerous nieces and nephews.
