Calvin "Kelly" McIntyre


VOLBORG, MT. --- Calvin "Kelly" McIntyre farmed with his father near Flaxton, N. ., until 1932, then moved to Montana to work for his aunt Flossie Benge on a ranch at Coalwood.


He later worked Construction on the Fort Peck Dam until 1938, then he moved to a ranch at LaPalme.


He enjoyed raising horses and cattle and was a past member of the Elks Lodge and Moose Lodge.


Mr. McIntyre, 78, died Saturday in Holt Rosary Hospital of cancer.

He was born in Flaxton, N.D., a son of Ernest and Stella Bird McIntyre.


He attended schools in Flaxton, graduating from Flaxton High School.


On Sept. 9, 1935, he married Camille LaPalme in Sheridan.


Survivors include his wife; a brother, Donald of Medford, OR., and three sisters, Mrs. Vernon Nelson of Flaxton, N.D., Mrs. Dorothy Grenvik and Mrs. Bill White both of Dunsmuir, CA.


Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home.


Burial in the Custer County Cemetery, Miles City, MT.
