Conrad was the son of Conrad John Eyler and Anna Barbara Flught. The spelling of the family name varies greatly from Iler, Eyler, Eiler, Eilar, Euler, Oyler, etc. Conrad married Anna Maria Kemp 18 September 1820 in Frederick County, Maryland and they had ten children: Elizabeth, Sarah Ann, Catherine, Adaline, George Washington, Jacob, Mary Ellen, Samuel, John Christian and Sarepta Ann Florentine. He spoke only German in the home.

Sale was made to Jacob HIDER at $120.50.
On 4 Oct 1850, Peter KEMP testified he had known the widow since she
was a child and she was 47 years old and generally healthy; she was
awarded 1/8 share.
Distribution after costs, $37.63; the widow, $15.06; each 1/7, $3.22.
