The 1900 census finds Abram (spelled Branson), widowed (?) coal miner, residing in Moundsville, Marshall, WV. Census gives his birthdate as March 1853. There are five children listed in household - Harry 23,(is this Hiram Herold?) Lola M 19**, Pearl 15, Mamie 12, and Reese 5.
Oddly, a second 1900 census lists Abraham, this time married with wife Dora, Marshall WV, and includes 3 children - Carl, Reese and Harry. Also it gives his birth year as 1862.
By the 1910 census, he is listed as divorced and residing with his son Reese and widowed Frances Mae (BAKER) Morehouse, listed as a servant. He was a coal miner.
He married Frances in 1917.
