Edward "Eddie" Paul Grinder, 30, died July 13, 2012 in Port St. Lucie. He was born in Pittsburgh and lived in the Fort Pierce-Port. St. Lucie area since 1994, coming from the Florida Keys.
He was a car mechanic and boilermaker, and a local DJ. He attended Fort Pierce Central High School.
Survivors include his wife, Gayle Monty-Grinder of Port St. Lucie; parents, Diane Sanford Collier of Port St. Lucie and Gary L. Grinder of Key Largo; son, Devon of Port St. Lucie; sisters, Alecia Collier and Sharon Sanford of Port St. Lucie, Jennifer Grinder of St. Louis. Aunt, Jeannine Sanford of Vandergrift, PA; brother, Jeff White of Fort Pierce; maternal grandfather, Chuck Sanford of North Apollo, PA; and paternal grandparents, Frank and Betty Grinder of Apollo, PA.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Sharon Sanford.
