Jack Edwin Holmes passed away Thursday evening, April 29, 2010 at home with his sons, the love of his extended family and friends, and the wonderful nurses of Hospice care. Jack was born in Charleston, WV on April 26, 1939 and spent the last forty years as a resident of St. Albans, WV.
He was a proud Charleston Firefighter for 26 years and an employee of Kanawha County schools. He was a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School class of 1958.
He was preceded in death by
his loving wife, Frances Holmes in 2007.
He is survived by
his sons, Barry and Nicholas, as well as his daughter-in-law, Melissa Holmes;
grandson, Hudson Jack Michael Holmes.
