Hubert Garfield Mumma, 425 Viginia Avenue, died at the Washington County Hospital Monday night at 11 o'clock, of complications, after an illness of two months, aged 70 years.
Born and reared at Keedysville, he was a son of the late Emmanuel (sic) and Elizabeth Schlosser Mumma. A farmer most of his life, he had been employed by the Statton Furniture Company in recent years. He was a member of Christ Reformed Church and of the Clever-Smith Bible Class.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Leona Mary Brewer Mumma, and a brother, Edward, of Keedysville.
The body was removed to the funeral home of A. K. Coffman, where services will be held Wednesday aftermoon at 3 o'clock, the Rev. Frederick D. Eyster officiating with internment in St. Paul's cemetery, near Clear Spring.
