Louis was a life-long member of the Harbor Light Masonic Lodge #0746 in Toldeo, a member of Scottish Rite, a member of the Big Pine Key Moose Lodge and a U.S. Navy veteran. Louis and his wife operated a charter boat on Lake Erie, retired to the FL Keys then relocated to Cocoa in 2005. Surviving is his wife, Patricia Badman and daughter, Lin Marie Badman. A Memorial Service will be held July 17, 2012 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Titusville. His remains will be scattered at Looe Reef in the Florida Keys at a later date.
