Emily Marie Lehman, 84, a 60-year resident of Oroville, died Saturday, march 37, 1993, in Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee.

She was born July 30, 1908, in Farmer to Joel and Kristine (Jensen) Brownfield. She spent her youth in Sunnyside and Farmer. The family moved to Waterville where she attended school.

Mrs. Lehman was chief operator for the Farmers Independent Telephone Co., which later became Inter-State (GTE) Telephone Co., in Waterville.

She married Albert P Lehman on Dec. 30, 1939 in Wenatchee. They lived in Oroville and started Lehman Waterhouse in 1940. They also developed orchards in the Oroville area. He preceded her in death on March 3. 1985.

Mrs. Lehman was a member of a non-denominational body of Christians.

Survivors include one daughter, Lorraine Wolley, Oroville; two sons, Wayne, Brewster and Duane of Yakima; one brother, Milton Brownfield, Sequim; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters and one brother.

Funeral services were held in the Bergh Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 31st at 11:00 am with George Gittins and Carol Dutton, officiating.

Memorials may be given to American Hear Assoc., or the charity of your choice. Concluding services at the Riverview Cemetery. Precht-Harrison Chapel, Omak in charge of arrangements.
