WOONSOCKET- Alice V. (Labonne) Richard, 85, died Thursday July 5, in the Friendly Home.
She was the wife of the late Adrien S. Richard.
Mrs. Richard was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Louis and Loretta (Girard) Labonne.
Mrs. Labonne was a textile worker for Empire Woolen Mills for many years before retiring in 1972.
After retiring, she pursued her interest in caring for horses in Blackstone.
She is survived by three children; Raymond Richard of Ft. Mills SC, Suzanne Tessier of Sebastian FL, and Irene Richard of Blackstone, two grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by three brothers; Albert, Richard, and Louis Labonne all of MA, and four sisters; Lucille Vario of Woonsocket, Constance Jolicoeur of Blackstone, Jeanne Lesperance of Blackstone, and Beatrice Meagher of Millville.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St, Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in St. Paul's Church, Blackstone.
Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday 5-7PM.
