Clifton Springs - Alva F Gunn, 64, father of Mrs. Arthur B Mack, Orleans Road, Clifton Springs Rd, died Saturday (Dec 19, 1953) in Auburn Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for about two weeks. He was a life resident of the town of Venice.
Other survivors are his wife, Mrs. June Cornell Gunn; two sons, Stephen, Ludlowville, and Jay A gunn, Moravia; another daughter, Mrs. Roger E Bradt, Elbridge and 15 grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted from the home in Venice Center this afternoon, with the Rev. Edward N. Howe, pastor of Venice Center Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery, Town of Springport - Daily Messenger, Canadaigua, NY 22 Dec 1953
