ADRIAN DAILY TELEGRAM, June 18, 1951:

"Reuben H. Tucker

Britton, June 18---Reuben H. Tucker, 72 years old, died suddenly at his home a mile south of Deerfield, at 11 p.m. Sunday after several years of failing health. He had been a farmer in Lenawee county the greater part of his life. He lived the last four years at the residence hwere he died.
Mr.Tucker is survived by his widow, Alvira; two sons, Lester of Tecumseh and Merland of Deerfield; two daughters, Mrs. Pansy Love of Blissfield and Mrs. Erma Butler of Riga; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a brother Harry of Britton; two sisters. Mrs. Jessie VanNest of Romulus and Mrs. Grace Newell of Deerfield and several nieces and nephews.
He was precded in death by his parents, and one son, Harold, killed in action in New Guinea in 1942.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Niblack Funeral Home. Burial will be at Ridgeway. Friends may call at the funeral home."

Britton, June 21---The funeral service for Reuben H. Tucker, who died Sunday, was held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Niblack Funeral Home. The Rev. J.J. Nofzinger of Blissfield officiated. Burial was in Ridgeway cemetery. The bearers were Bernard, Elwood and Virgil Tucker and Donald, Norma, and Francis Newell."
