Ephraim H. Bennett, 74, a resident of Venice, died Sunday morning at the home of his sister-in-law, Mrs. Clarence E. Bennett, 94 Dunning Avenue, following a heart attack.
Mr. Bennett was born in Venice and was a life long resident of that town. He is survived by his wife, Mira H. Hutchison Bennett; two daughters, Mrs. Irvin Ray Clark and Mrs. Ernest Stevens; one son, J. Willard Bennett, all of Venice; one sister, Mrs. Eugene Cornell of Venice; one brother, A. M. Bennett, Cortland; several nephews.
The funeral will be held from the residence of the daughter, Mrs. Ernest Stevens Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Fred Whiting officiating assisted by Rev. F. L. Percy. Burial will be in East Venice Cemetery.
