Lois was a member of the church, she enjoyed spending time with her family, painting and reading. She was employed as a LPN, working for various hospitals and nursing homes. She had worked at Maplecrest Nursing Home for the greatest period of time.
Lois is survived by her children; Lorene (Roy) Smith of Youngstown, Billijo (Pete) Condon of Girard, Philip Clark of Girard, step children; Muriel Tavolario, Sandra Jackson both of Youngstown and William Clarke Jr. of Girard. She also leaves seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters; Clella Elliot of McDonald, Diane Heckrow of Texas, Linda Alexander of Austintown and brothers; Dan Bass of Youngstown, Kane Bass of Austintown, Larry Bass of Hubbard and several nieces and nephews. Lois was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Clarke Sr. whom she married May 17, 1965 and who died January 19, 1988, her parents, and brothers; Clell, Ray, Jimmy and Lee Bass.
Family and friends may call from 2-4 pm Sunday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel and from 11:30 am until time of services Monday at church.
