Mrs. Adelia Hulda Hill died at 8:16 o'clock Sunday evening, Jan 19th, 1902 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. G. D. Kohl, at No. 1125 South Third Street West. She had been ill for about a week with pneumonia. Mrs. Hill was 60 years of age and had been a resident of the city for a short period of a year, the family coming to Cedar Rapids from Nebraska, in which state they had resided for many years. Besides the daughter there are seven sons living. The funeral will be conducted at 2 o'clock from the family home. Rev. T. M. Archer will officiate, assisted by Rev. J. G. Walz of the Zion Evangelical church. The interment will be in Linwood. - Cedar Rapids (Iowa) Gazette.
Mrs. Hill was an old resident of Sterling, and only left here a little more than a year ago to visit her son, Charlie in Hannibal, Mo. She was a sister of Mrs. Daniel Kneeland of this village, and leaves many old friends about here to mourn her sudden death.
