Herbert T. Curtis
Herbert T. Curtis died at his home, 182 Pleasant Street, yesterday morning after a brief illness.
He was born in Swampscott, the son of the late Thomas H. and Clara (Washburn) Curtis. He had been a resident of Marblehead for many years, and was employed by the J.J. Lawlor Tobacco Co.
Besides his wife, Bertha (Lyons) Curtis, he leaves a son, Donald T. and two brothers, Edward H. of Marblehead and Everett F. Curtis of Bangor, Me.
He was a member of Philanthropic Lodge A.F. & A.M. The funeral will be held from his late residence on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. and burial will be in Waterside Cemetery.
