Murray A. "Al" Reese, 82, of Inverness died Wednesday, April 22, 1998 at Citrus Memorial Hospital. Born in Miami on November 9, 1915, to the late Mitchell and Alice DeVane Reese, Mr. Reese was a retired postal clerk with 35 years of service coming here 27 years ago from Miami. He was a former deacon and member of Main Street Baptist Church, and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Inverness. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Beverly Leverett Reese; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Diane Reese; and son-in-law Bob Tallaksen. He was preceded in death by: son, Russell Reese, October 1990; five brothers, James, Ray, Vernon, Leonard, and Gus; and two sisters, Ida and Leslie.
