Richard B. Adam, 86, of 324 West Sixth Ave., Clearfield died on Thursday, April 27, 1995, at the Clearfield Hospital.
Born Sept. 16, 1908, in Houtzdale, he was a son of Richard and Margaret (Walker) Adam.
He retired from C. H. Miller Auto Parts Company in Clearfield, where he was a manager.
He was an active member of the Clearfield Presbyterian Church; was a former member of the Osceola Mills Masonic Lodge; and was an adviser in the Demolay for several years.
He also served as a volunteer for the Clearfield Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl A. (Weston) Adam, whom he married on March 31, 1934; a son, Roger W. Adam of Clearfield; a daughter, Joyce A. Norris of York; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, David Adam of Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Harry, John, and Robert Adam; and four sisters, Mildred Baron, Mary Smith, Jean Adam, and Peggy Prisk.
Services will be held at the Clearfield Presbyterian Church on Saturday at 2 p.m., with the Dr. Douglas S. Pride officiating.
Interment will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park.
Friends will be received at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc., Clearfield, today from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Clearfield Presbyterian Church, 119 N. Second St., Clearfield, PA 16830; or to the charity of the donor's choice.
