Nancy Peters, 72, Green Bay, died Monday, July 16, 2012. She was born Jan. 11, 1940, in Kewaunee, to Gustave and Harlene (Burmeister) Kortbein. On June 17, 1967, Nancy married Kenneth Peters in Mishicot at Holy Cross Catholic Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also liked to cook and entertain friends and family.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Nathan and Catherine Peters, Jonathan and Cheryl Peters, Aaron and La Ree Peters, Nanette Peters, Sarah and Bob Tarantino; ten grandchildren, Kendrick, Brianna, Tyler, Samantha, Emilee, Jordan, Riley, Alex, T.J., Rick; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Joan Kochan, Leroy (Ann) Peters, Jerome (Carolyn) Peters, DeWayne Peters, Bonnie Peters.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; and her parents.
Friends may call at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 210 S. Oneida St., Green Bay, from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 21. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. Paul Pett officiating. Burial will be in Knollwood Cemetery in Mishicot.
