David Christie was the son of Alton P. and Ruby Eileen (Milburn)Christie, and the father of Kaitlyn Brianna Christie b. Oct. 22, 1998. David was a 1994 graduate of Union County High School and was employeed as a Correctional Officer at New River Correctional Institution at the time of his death. He was killed in an automobile accident at the intersection of SR 121 and Hwy 16 in Union Co., Raiford, Fla.
