In 1930, Frank Allaire, aged 44, manager at a straw braid manufacturer, could be found living on Fulton Street, Hempstead Village, NY, with his wife Evelyn D. Allaire, aged 34, and daughter Barbara D. Allaire, aged 16.
Obituary - Frank Allaire, of Hempstead, for many years a summer resident of Sayville, died on Saturday. Until about 20 years ago, Mr. Allaire and his family were active in the Sayville summer colony and for a number of years after that they visited here frequently. He was an active golfer and worked hard in the old Sayville Golf Club. Mr. Allaire is survived by his widow, and by two daughters, Mrs. Kathryn Purcell and Mrs. Barbara Olmstead. Funeral services were held on Monday in the Fairchild Chapel in Garden City.
